A short posting; busy week.
On Wednesday, 7 January, at City Hall (6:30 p.m.) we would like to extend a special invitation to the leadership of Mt. Juliet’s various Home Owner Associations (HOA’s), to join us for what we hope will be the first in a series on on-going discussions and updates about city activities. While all members of the Mt. Juliet community are cordially invited, we want to extend this special invitation to the leadership (President’s, VP’s, Secretaries, Public Affairs, etc.) of our HOA’s. In addition to an opportunity to get to know the city’s senior staff and enjoy some refreshments, we plan to provide updates from our Police, Parks & Recreation, Public Works and Economic Development Directors. As public servants we serve over 26,000 citizens, so it is often difficult to get a clear consensus on what your concerns and wishes are. We hope this will be a valuable initiative for all, and help establish a glide path for better communications and cooperation between City Hall and those we serve.

What a wonderful concept to communicate to the citizen needs of Mount Juliet. These types of new opportunities will produce a healthy community. If we just listen, ask and give we can make a difference. CHB
